To paint the rolling stock of rail transport primarily urethane alkyd, epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic urethane, water dispersion coatings are used. Type coatings are selected according to operating conditions and exposure of chemical and mechanical factors. The results of the research and the general operational checks showed that the use of water dispersion of new advanced materials provides an equivalent value, and most importantly on the quality of coatings, replacement of traditional coatings containing organic solvents.
